Wayne Noble Ford, 87
      Wayne Noble Ford, 87, Trafalgar, died Feb. 24, 2004, at Community Hospital
South.
      Born March 8, 1916, in Brown County, he was the son of James Edward and
Luella Curry Ford.  He married Wanda B. King Ford on July 21, 1946, in
Indianapolis.  She survives.
      Ford was employed at Camp Atterbury during the 1960s and 1970s in the
maintenance department.  He was also a self-employed carpenter and farmer
all his life.  He enjoyed fishing and trapping and working in his
vegetable garden.
      Survivors include a son, Allen Vance Ford, Martinsville; daughter, Carol
J. Litteral, Trafalgar; six grandchildren, Barry Ford, Shelbyville, Monty
Ford, Paragon, Jerry and Eric Litteral, both of Brown County, Carlene
Byrus and Colleena Duffer, both of Franklin; and four great-grandchildren.
      He was preceded in death by five sisters, Maude Vandivier, Elsie Lukis,
Ruth Schenck, Mollie Ford and Ruby Prince and 7 brothers, Arnold, Reynold,
Crawford, Glenn, Millard, Donald and Harold Ford.
      The graveside service will be Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, at Rest Haven
Cemetery in Edinburgh.
      Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in
Morgantown.

      Wayne Noble Ford, 87, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Community Hospital
South in Indianapolis.  He was a resident of Trafalgar.
      He was born March 8, 1916, in Brown County.  His parents were James Edward
and Luella (Curry) Ford.  He married Wanda B. (King) Ford on July 21,
1946, in Indianapolis.  She survives. Other survivors include a son, Allen
Vance Ford of Martinsville; a daughter, Carol J. Litteral of Trafalgar;
six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death
by five sisters, Maude Vandivier, Elsie Lukis, Ruth Schenck, Mollie Ford
and Ruby Prince; and seven brothers, Arnold, Reynold, Crawford, Glenn,
Millard, Donald and Harold Ford.
