Ernest Ford, 66, of Franklin, died Sunday at Homeview Nursing Home,
Franklin, after an illness.
He was born July 3, 1922, in Johnson County to Vernon and Arminda (Wells)
Ford. He attended Hopewell schools.
A carpenter, Mr. Ford also worked at Camp Atterbury, Foster's Variety
Store, Hougland Canning Co. and Lawrence Christy Construction Co.
He was a member of First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and the Franklin
Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving him is a sister, Dorothy F. Carlson of Anoka, Minn.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and before the 10:30 a.m. service
Tuesday at Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home, Franklin. The Rev. Frank
Goodwin will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery,
Franklin.
