Charles Curtis Followell
Charles Curtis Followell, 74, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
He was born June 10, 1929, in Liberty, Ky. His parents were Killis and Minnie (Hill) Followell. He married Constance (Moody) Followell on Dec. 23, 1974. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Charles B. Followell of Whiteland and David R. Followell of Franklin; a daughter, Carol L. Silvers of Phoenix; two sisters, Frances Simpson of Manito, Ill., and Manille Denson of Liberty, Ky.; a grandson; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
He attended school in Casey County, Ky.
He was employed by Arvin Automotive in Franklin as a forklift driver for 39 years, retiring in December 1993.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
The Rev. Phil Buckner will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
