George Flake, druggist at Nineveh, whose critical illness was mentioned in last week’s Democrat, died Thursday night, Oct. 24, at his residence in that place. He had been sick only ten days, his affliction being an abscess of the brain. Mr. Flake formerly lived in Morgan county, but had been a resident of Nineveh for five years. Funeral services were held Saturday, at 2 o’clock p.m. at the Christian church, Elder John C. Miller conducting the services. Deceased was about 55 years old.
