Mrs. Mary J. Fisher, wife of the late Capt. W. H. Fisher, died at her home in this village on last Saturday, Nov. 8th, at the age of 73 years. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church on Sunday, the services being conducted by Rev. Burt. The remains were taken to the Hurricane cemetery for burial.

Mrs. Mary Fisher, wife of the late Capt. W. H. [William Harrison] Fisher, and mother of W. H. Fisher of this city, died at her home in Whiteland about 11 o’clock Friday morning after a lingering illness, aged seventy [sic] years. The funeral took place from the Presbyterian church of Whiteland on Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock, and the remains were interred in the Hurricane cemetery.
