==============================
John A. Finch, a well-known lawyer of Indianapolis and a former resident of Franklin, died Tuesday evening at Minneapolis in a bath tub. He had gone to that city to engage in a law suit. Heart failure was the cause of his death. Deceased was a son of Judge Fabius M. Finch, who was a partner of the late Judge Banta. The elder Finch is still living at the advanced age of 88 years.

==============================
The relatives of John A. Finch, who was found dead in a bathtub in a St. Paul hotel last week, are undecided whether his death was due to heart disease or an accident. As far as known Mr. Finch was never troubled with heart disease and the supposition is that he might have slipped while getting into the tub and struck his head, on which was found a concussion. The blow might have rendered him unconscious. He was under water when found. Mr. Finch carried both life and accident insurance, the latter class amounting to about $20,000.
