Charley M. Ferrell dies in Franklin Charley Mann Ferrell, 81, died Tuesday in Welcome Nursing Home in Franklin. Born April 28, 1898 in Whiteland, he was the son of Joseph and Molly Ferrell. He was married to Gladys M. (Coy) Rairdon Ferrell, and she survives. A former employee of Rom Webber Furniture in Batesville, he was a member of the Whiteland Baptist Church. Survivors include step-children, Dale Rairdon, Morgantown; Lucille Trisler, Edinburgh; Doris Pike, Edinburgh; Betty Smithey, Indianapolis; and Charles Rairdon, Franklin. He was preceded in death by one step-son, Edward Rairdon. Services will be held Friday, 1 p.m. at Eskew Funeral Home in Edinburgh. The Rev. Cecil Parkhurst will officiate, and burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. Thursday.

Charley M. Ferrell The Rev. Cecil Parkhurst conducted funeral services Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Eskew Funeral Home for Charley Mann Ferrell, 81, Edinburgh, who died at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday at Welcome Nursing Home in Franklin. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Whiteland. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery with Bob Pike, Randy Pike, Norman Pike, Otto Lewis, Delmis Burns and Cliff Eskew serving as pallbearers. Ferrell was born April 28, 1898, in Whiteland, the son of Joseph and Molly Ferrell. He was a former employee of the Rom Weber Company in Batesville. Survivors include his wife, Gladys M. Cox Rairdon Ferrell, and five stepchildren, Lucille Trisler and Doris Pike of Edinburgh, Charles Rairdon of Franklin, Dale Rairdon of Morgantown and Betty Smithey of Indianapolis.
