World War Veteran Floyd Ferguson Edinburgh EDINBURGH -- Floyd Ferguson, 55, Edinburgh route 1, died Thursday afternoon at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis after a long illness. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eskew Funeral Home in Edinburgh by the Rev. Raymond Brown. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Persons may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Born Oct. 10, 1922, in Johnson County, Ferguson was the son of the late Volley and Bonnie Mathis Ferguson. He was an army veteran of World War II. Survivors include a son, Floyd Ferguson, Jr., Franklin; a daughter, Kathy Sue Ferguson of Whiteland; two stepsons, Gary Eugene White of Greenwood and Larry Duane White of Palo Alta, Calif., five sisters, Evelyn Whitlock and Alice May Hill, both of Edinburgh, Ruby Benson of Mango, Fla., Edna Sallee of Flat Rock and Minnie Arnison of Gary; four brothers, Edward, Roy, Earl and Carl, all of Columbus, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Allen Ray; a sister, Marguerite, and two half brothers, Charles and Ralph.

Services For Floyd Ferguson Were Saturday Floyd Ferguson, 55, Edinburgh route 1, died Thursday at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Eskew Funeral Home by the Rev. Raymond Brown. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery with Fred Thompson, John Betz, John Jones, Wayne Newman, Richard Cook and Raymond Ferguson serving as pallbearers. Born Oct. 10, 1922, in the Edinburgh area Ferguson was the son of the late Volley and Bonnie Mathis Ferguson. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
