E. Beatrice "Bea" Felts, 93, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at Riverwalk Village
in Noblesville. She was a resident of Noblesville.

She was born Sept. 17, 1908, in Hardin County, Ky. Her parents were William and
Sudie (Taber) Shipley. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Trisler of
Fishers; two brothers, William Russell of Clearwater, Fla., and David H. Shipley
of Franklin; a sister, Dorothy Rhude of Clearwater, Fla.; five grandchildren;
and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald
Gatewood; a brother, Garland Shipley; and a sister, Evelyn Trulock.

She was employed for 23 years by Greenwood Village as a receptionist, retiring
in 1998. She had also worked at Reed Cleaners in Indianapolis for several years,
as well as working as a clerk for Schwitzer Corp. (now Borg-Warner) before
retiring from Schwitzer in 1973.

She was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Adams Funeral Home in
Crothersville. Friends may call from noon until time of service Saturday at the
funeral home. A memorial service will also be conducted at Greenwood Village at
a later date. Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel,
is handling local arrangements.
