ELKINS, Darrell E.

Darrell E. Elkins, 68, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at his residence in
Franklin. He was a former resident of Morgantown and Brown County.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette E. (Wilson) Elkins; two sons, Scott A.
(Wendy) Elkins of Whiteland and Mark A. (Betty) Kerner of Indianapolis; two
daughters, Leslie S. Gess of Camby and Karen S. (Richard) Thorpe of
Indianapolis; a half brother, Michael Elkins of Franklin; and eight
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas E. and Only O. (Wright) Elkins;
his first wife, Donna Kay (Norman) Elkins; two sisters, Marilyn Pieper and
Elenora Hutton; and a brother, Raymond E. Elkins.

The Rev. Eugene Baker Jr. will conduct a funeral service at noon Friday at
Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Cremation and Personalization Center, 179 E.
Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time
Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Acton Cemetery.
