Last Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Mt. Pleasant occurred the funeral of Carrie Dressler. The service was conducted by Rev. John C. Miller. The house was filled with friends from Franklin, Indianapolis and other places, who listened to a very able sermon on the future existence and the intermediate state of the soul. She leaves a husband, two small sons, a father and mother, one sister and many friends, who mourn her untimely death. The cause of her death was consumption, the result of having the measles about a year ago. Many times during her last sickness, she expressed a willingness to go.
