JESSIE DORSEY
Jessie Dorsey, 83, Franklin, died Friday morning at the Indiana Masonic Home where she had lived since 1973. She was a former Edinburgh resident.
Services were held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Howard officiating. Burial was at Spring Hill Cemetery near Greensburg.
Born February 26, 1902, in Bedford, Ky., she was the daughter of Charles and Nancy (Quinley) Hunter. She married M. Elbert Dorsey October 29, 1919. He preceded her in death in 1972.
She was a member of the Edinburgh United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Park, Edinburgh; three sisters, Martha Gibson, Theodica Mount and Elsie Hendrickson, all of Indianapolis; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Conover.
