E. June (Christy) Doan
E. June (Christy) Doan, 59, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born April 2, 1942, in Indianapolis. Her parents were Benjamin Christy and Amanda (Cawthorn) Wendell. Survivors include three brothers, Robert Christy of Marshall, Texas, Ronald Christy of Indianapolis and Edwin Christy of Columbus, Texas; and two sisters, Carol J. Cummins of Mooresville and Barbara J. Johnson of Danville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Olesen; and a stepfather, Frank Wendell.
She was a 1960 graduate of Monrovia High School.
She was employed by Alpine in Greenwood.
The Rev. Andrew Haynes will conduct a service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
