Saundra M. Curnett died Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at her sister’s home in Franklin. A resident of Lewellen, Nebraska, she was 42.
Mrs. Curnett left survivors in northern Brown County.
She was born April 14, 1955, in Franklin to Benjimine and Dorothy Curry Lovins.
She and Stanley M. Curnett were married January 1, 1979. He survives.
Mrs. Curnett was graduated from Center Grove High School.
She had worked as a cook at Lewellen Nursing Home in that Nebraska community for more than two years. For the last eight years, she had worked at Westminster Village South in Greenwood. She had also worked at Ann’s Restaurant in Franklin for three years.
Other survivors include two daughters, Starlene D. Silver Owens of Franklin and Jennifer L. Curnett of Lewellen, Nebraska; a son, Danny L. Silver of Franklin; three brothers, Robert Lovins and Donald Lovins, both of Franklin, and Benjimine Lovins of Shelbyville; four sisters, Darlene Zellars of Franklin, Marlene Caudill of Cordry Lake, Paula Chisholm of West Newton and Donna Curnett of Greencastle; and three grandchildren.
The Reverend Ralph Stocklin conducted a service Friday, May 9, at the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin.
Burial was in Johnson County’s First Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
