JAMES CROW.
––––
The remains of James Crow were brought to this city last Saturday from Indianapolis, for interment in Greenlawn cemetery. Death came to his relief the Wednesday previous after a lingering illness of consumption. Deceased was known in this city and had always resided here until a few years ago, when he moved to Indianapolis for residence. He was well advanced in years, being sixty-two years of age. For many years he had been connected with the Methodist church. A wife, and two children, James Crow, Jr., and Mrs. Henry Aumann, of Indianapolis, are left to mourn his death.
Note: The Marion County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882–1920, referencing Book H-4, page 168, records that James Crow, a sixty-two-year-old white male, died 3 Feb 1892 in Indianapolis.
