EDINBURGH -- Violet E. Coy, 69, a resident of Heritage House in Greensburg, died there Saturday evening, May 16, 1992.
She had lived most of her life in Edinburgh and attended Osgood Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Randy Brown officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Mrs. Coy was born Dec. 16, 1922, in Franklin, the daughter of Alexander and Maggie Core Anderson. She married Raymond Coy Oct 2., 1964. He died Jan. 25, 1985.
Survivors include stepchildren, Pearl Golliver, Janet Staggs, Barbara Richardson, Carol Jones, Joyce Knight, Raymond Coy, Jr. and Harlon Coy of Indianapolis, Margaret Coy of Osgood, Steven Coy of Gosport, Michael Coy of Cedar Lake and Kenneth and Russell Coy of Columbus; a brother, Marcus Anderson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by stepchildren, Shari Sizemore, Wayne Coy, and Robert Earl Coy.

Violet E. Coy, 69, died Saturday at Heritage House in Greensburg. She had been a resident of Edinburgh most of her life.
She was born Dec. 16, 1922, in Franklin. Her parents were Alexander Anderson and Maggie (Core) Anderson. She married Raymond Coy Oct. 2, 1964. He preceded her in death Jan. 25, 1985. Survivors include six stepdaughters, Margaret Coy of Osgood, Pearl Golliver, Janet Staggs, Joyce Kight, Barbara Richardson and Carol Jones, all of Indianapolis; seven stepsons, Kenneth Coy and Russell Coy, both of Columbus, Raymond Coy Jr. and Harlon Coy, both of Indianapolis, Michael Coy of Cedar Lake, Steven Coy of Gosport; a brother, Marcus Anderson; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Shari Sizemore, and two stepsons, Robert Earl Coy and Wayne Coy.
She was a homemaker.
She attended the Osgood Baptist Church.
