Dick Coy dies; services set Raymond Dale (Dick) Coy, 70, died Wednesday afternoon at his residence at 315 South Home Avenue, Franklin. Mr. Coy was born April 22, 1904, at Taylorsville to Ira and Vinnie (McQueen) Coy. He attended Taylorsville and Edinburg schools. On April 19, 1944, Mr. Coy married the former Mary Voris. She survives. He was a resident of Franklin for about 20 years and had been a horse trainer. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Vandivier- Parsley Funeral Home at Franklin by Rev. James McKinney. Friends may call there after 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery at Edinburg. Survivors in addition to the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Ann Cooper of Westport, Ind.; two sons, Carroll Coy of California and Rollyn Lee Coy of Edinburg; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ina Winter of Mobile, Ga., and a brother, Dwight Coy of St. Helen, Mich. Mr. Coy was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
