Charlotte M. Coy, 69, of Greenwood died Thursday, Oct.12, 2000, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
She retired in 1991 from Indiana Bell/Ameritech after 40 years and was a member of Order of Eastern Star at Franklin.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home, 1605 S. Indiana 135, Greenwood. Calling will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery at Edinburgh.
Mrs. Coy was born in Edinburgh March 17, 1931, the daughter of Henry and Fredonia Shipp Skaggs. She married Meredith Coy in Edinburgh June 26, 1949. He survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Susan Walker of Greenwood; a sister, Lois Pangle of Interlachen, Fla.; and a grandson, Eric Walker of Greenwood.

She was born March 17, 1931, in Edinburgh. Her parents were Henry and Fredonia (Shipp) Skaggs. She married Meredith Coy on June 26, 1949, in Edinburgh. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Susan Walker of Greenwood; a sister, Lois Pangle of Interlachen, Fla.; and one grandson.
She worked for Indiana Bell and Ameritech for 40 years, retiring in 1991.
She was a member of Franklin Order of the Eastern Star 439.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home in Greenwood. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
