George Cook, a well-known resident of Union township, died Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock of Bright’s disease. His last illness extended over but two weeks. Funeral services will be held at the house this afternoon at one o’clock, conducted by Rev. Henry Taylor. Burial at Hopewell. Deceased was born in Kentucky and came to this county when a small child with his parents, settling in Union township, where he continued to reside until his death. He leaves a wife and two sons, Alonzo and Oren Cook.
