VIVIAN CONOVER DIES
Vivian Conover, 59, former Edinburgh resident, died Friday night at the hospital in Syracuse, Indiana. She had been ill several months.
Funeral services were held at the Harris Funeral Home in Syracuse yesterday morning and graveside services were conducted by the Rev. David Bremer at Edinburgh Rest Haven Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. yesterday. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
Miss Conover was born July 20, 1920, in Shelby County, the daughter of Claude and Hazel Wertz Conover and had graduated from Edinburgh High School. She was employed at Amos-Thompson Corporation prior to moving to Syracuse where she made her home with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harkless, and was employed in the Harkless Gift Shop and boat marina and a doctor’s office in Syracuse.
She was a member of the Edinburgh Presbyterian Church and Edinburgh Tri Kappa.
Surviving are a brother, Henry Conover of Edinburgh; a niece, Cheryl Conover of Columbus and the aunt, Mrs. Harkless.
