Death of Mrs. Pleas. Cole.
Mrs. Martha Cole, wife of Pleasant Cole, of Needham Township, died Tuesday morning at eight o’clock. For nearly twenty-five years she had suffered from dropsical affection which finally culminated in her death in the 62d year of her age. She was the daughter of Henry Willard, one of the earliest settlers of Needham township, and a sister of John Willard, of this city. Her membership of the Second Mt. Pleasant Baptist church runs back through a period of forty years. She was a great sufferer at times yet always patient and kind in disposition. The funeral took place yesterday at the church, conducted by Rev. P. O. Duncan. Besides her husband, she leaves an only son, Wm. H. Cole.
