Ralph Coffman dies Friday Ralph V. Coffman, 209 Pearl Street, Whiteland, 71, died Friday in Jeffersonville. Born Dec. 4, 1906, in Bartholomew County to Charles and Ethel (Hague) Coffman, Coffman was a graduate of Hopewell High School and Franklin College and Purdue University. Coffman married Alice McGee in 1934, who pre- ceded him in death in 1977. Coffman had previously been employed by Indiana Farm Bureau and had been working for Financial Co-op Association. He was a member of Whiteland Methodist Church, Whiteland Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Indiana Traffic Club past president, Jubilee Lodge of Whiteland, Jubilee Chapter of Eastern Star in Whiteland, Kiwanis Club of Greater Whiteland, National Council of Farmers Cooperative and Founder of National Society of Traffic and Transportation. Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Vandivier Parsley Funeral Home and burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Rev. Glen Clarkson will officiate. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Janice) Eaton, Tullahoma, Tennessee, three grandchildren and one sister, Catherine Richard, Cincinnati.
