Death of Abram Clore.

Abram Clore died suddenly at his home in Bargersville about 5 o’clock Friday evening. Mr. Clore was in his eighty first year and had walked that day to his son, Milo Clore’s home, about one mile from Bargersville, and walked back. He seemed to be in his usually good health.

After returning home he went to the barn, climbed into the mow and pitched some hay down to feed stock. After finishing this and when about ready to return to the house he was stricken down. Members of the family who were near noticed him sit down in the door of the barn and then fall. He expired before he could be removed to the house.

Deceased was one of the pioneers of the county and a highly respected citizen.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Christian church in Bargersville, conducted by Rev. John C. Miller. Burial at Hopewell.
