BLANCHE CHANDLER

Blanche Chandler, 78, Taylorsville, died at 12:10 p.m. Sunday at Bartholomew County Hospital. She was a former employee of Whitmer’s Drug Co. and Camp Atterbury.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Matt Malott at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hathaway-Myers Funeral Chapel. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery at Edinburgh.

Mrs. Chandler was born at Taylorsville July 24, 1902, the daughter of Charles E. and Dora Gable Jolly. She was married to Hobart Chandler July 14, 1922 and he preceded her in death Oct. 25, 1979. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church and Columbus Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two daughters, Norma Jean Lee, Taylorsville, and Joann Kirts, Columbus, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
