The infant daughter of E. E. Carvin died Monday in this city. The remains were taken to Edinburg Tuesday for burial.
Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Health Officer’s Record Number 3, page 42, records that Clara L. Carvin died from catarrhal pneumonia of seven days duration on 12 Feb 1900 at about 8 o’clock at her family’s residence on East Madison Street in Franklin, Johnson County, aged five months and eleven days. She was born in Edinburg to Edgar E. Carvin and Ella M. Griffith, both born in Indiana. She was buried in Edinburg on 13 Feb 1900, undertaker E. G. Barnhizer.
