Death of Webb Canary.
Webb Canary, whose serious illness was mentioned in last week’s Democrat died Saturday night at 11 o’clock at his home on the farm of the late John T. Yager. He had been ill seven weeks of that dread disease, typhoid fever. The nature of his death had unusual elements of sadness connected with it, inasmuch as his wife was lying sick in an adjoining room from the same disease and regarded so critical as to make it necessary to withhold the knowledge of her husband’s death.
Deceased was twenty-seven years old and a son of Michael Canary, deceased. He was an industrious and prosperous young farmer, enjoying the acquaintance and esteem of a large circle of friends. He leaves a wife and two small children —a son two years old and a babe but five weeks old.
The remains were placed in the vault Monday. Funeral services will be held at some future date.
