James Campbell, a prominent young democratic farmer of Clark township, died on Wednesday of last week after an illness of several months with cancer of the stomach. A few months ago he submitted to a surgical operation and for a while was much better. The funeral services were held on Friday and the remains were interred at the Catholic cemetery in Indianapolis. His death will be mourned by a large circle of relatives and a host of friends in this county.
