For Emerson Calvert
Masonic memorial services were held Monday at 7:30 p.m. for Emerson Tampa Calvert at the Eskew Funeral Home.
Mr. Calvert was a 50-year member of the Edinburgh F&AM 100 Lodge.
Memorial services were conducted by Master Joe Brown and assisted by Arthur R. Mitchell as Chaplain, and other area Masons in attendance.
Interment was on Tuesday, January 26, at the Rest Haven Cemetery.

EMERSON CALVERT
Emerson Tampa Calvert, 80, a resident of Glasgow, Ky., the past several years, died there Saturday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.
A former Edinburgh resident, he owned a dairy here several years.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Hugh Owen at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eskew Funeral Home.
Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Calvert was born Oct. 21, 1901, in Edinburgh, son of David and Myrtle Wilhite Calvert. He married Edna Reimer. She died in 1966. He then married Madelyn Morrison, and she survives.
Calvert was employed for a number of years as a land procurer for the Government Corps of Engineers. He was a member of the Edinburgh Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving with the wife are a stepson, Tommy C. Morrison of Warwick, Ga.; one sister, Lucille Harding of Germantown, Md. and one niece and one nephew, Jo Ann Wilbur and Curtis Calvert, both of Edinburgh.
