Board Member Dies

EDINBURG, June 22—Funeral services for David B. Calvert, a former member of the town board, will be conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Mutz funeral home with the Rev. D.D. McColl officiating.

Burial will be made in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Monday.

Death occurred at 2 o’clock Sat­urday afternoon at the residence in Edinburg.

Served Two Terms

Mr. Calvert was born at Rising Sun, Ind. on December 2, 1867 and was the son of Lowery and Amanda James Calvert. On March 8, 1908 he was married to Myrtle Wilhite. He served two terms on the Edinburg town board and for 26 years was employed at the Cutsinger elevator here. He was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving are the wife, four chil­dren, Herbert and Emerson Calvert of Edinburg, Mrs. Lucile Hardin of Maryland, Ed Calvert, of Elkhart, two grandchildren, and a brother, Owen Calvert, of Indianapolis.
