Juanita Caldwell

Juanita Caldwell, 70, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was a longtime resident of Edinburgh.

She was born Feb. 22, 1931, in Johnson County. Her parents were Wheeler and Ossie (Green) Burton. She married William G. Caldwell on April 5, 1946. He preceded her in death March 16, 2001. Survivors include three daughters, Wanda Faye Shepherd and Lila Louise Shepherd, both of Taylorsville, and Relda Ayers of Edin­burgh; two sons, William R. Caldwell of Sturgis, Mich., and Tim Caldwell of Elizabethtown; 20 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was pre­ceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Caldwell; a son, Larry W. Caldwell; three sisters; and three brothers.

She was a homemaker and attended Edinburgh Church of the Nazarene.

The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edin­burgh.
