Anna Lee Caldwell

Anna Lee Caldwell, 81, died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care in Lexington, S. C. She was a resident of Edinburgh.

She was born June 17, 1921, in Adair County, Kentucky. Her parents were David G. and Martha (Burton) Burton. She married Lenard Caldwell on Jan. 9, 1954. He preceded her in death Nov. 19, 2000. Survivors include a son, Mitchell C. Pittman of Leesville, S. C.; three sisters, Ruby Burton, Katherine Roberts and Irene Wilson, all of Columbus; five grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was pre­ceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Wilmer and Benny Burton; and two sis­ters, Ruth Sandefur and Marie Burton.

She was a homemaker.

The Rev. Phyllis Burton will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Monday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sun­day at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
