Funeral Tuesday

EDINBURGH — Funeral service for Madeline “Sally” Burdine, 59, of Edinburgh, will be conducted by the Rev. George Eagler at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

Miss Burdine died Saturday mor­ning at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis after being in failing health since 1982.

She was born May 10, 1925, in Bargersville, the daughter of Alonzo and Lena Spurgeon Burdine. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and until her retirement in 1982 had been a longtime office employee of the David R. Webb Co. in Edinburgh.

Survivors include two brothers, Bobby L. and Alonzo Burdine Jr., both of Indianapolis
