Norma Buchanan

Brown County native Norma M. Buchanan died Friday, December 13, 1996, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. A resident of that city, she was 87.

Mrs. Buchanan was born November 14, 1900, in Brown County to Walter and Margaret Olive Livingston Myers.

She and Norman W. Buchanan were married October 30, 1937, in Rush­ville. He died March 6, 1987.

Mrs. Buchanan attended schools in Brown and Johnson counties.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Buchanan was a member of Franklin’s Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jani­fer K. Stoltz of Kankakee, Illinois; two sons, Lennie J. Buchanan of Fort Myers, Florida and Jon D. Buchanan of Madison; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

The Reverend John Cheeseman conducted a service Tuesday, Decem­ber 17, at Vandivier-Parsely Funeral Home in Franklin. Burial was in that city’s Greenlawn Cemetery.
