Linda Bryant
Linda Bryant, 53, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Edinburgh.
She was born Feb. 6, 1950, in Columbus. Her parents were Arnold and Elizabeth (Mann) Denton. She married Larry Bryant on Sept. 28, 1965. He preceded her in death Oct. 29, 2002. Survivors include a son, L. J. Bryant of Edinburgh; two daughters, Betty Jones and Shelby Bryant, both of Edinburgh; four brothers, Daniel and Randy Denton, both of Edinburgh, Steven Denton of Indianapolis and Dennis Denton of Amity; five sisters, Lois Hall, Virginia Burton and Barbara Denton, all of Nineveh, and Darlene Bryant and Donna Holcomb, both of Edinburgh; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Jerry Denton.
She was employed by Lear Corp. in Edinburgh as a section leader for 21 years, retiring in July 2000.
She was a 21-year charter member of Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh. She also served as a youth Sunday school teacher and as secretary-treasurer of the church for several years.
The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Monday at Who So Ever Will Community Church, 623 Eisenhower Drive, in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
