BANTA.

George B. Brunnemer died Monday of typhoid fever. His remains were laid to rest Tuesday afternoon in the Old Shiloh cemetery. Funeral services were held at the church here conducted by Rev. Sidebottom. J. L. Brunnemer, wife and daughter, Leona, of Indianapolis, and Louis Simpson and wife, of Provi­dence, attended the funeral. Mrs. Nancy Good, of Franklin, mother of the de­ceased, has been here for some time waiting on her son.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Banta, White River Township, Johnson County, Certificate and Record of Death, Health Officer’s Record Number 28, page 162 records that George B. Brunnemer died at about 1 o’clock p. m. on 19 Nov 1900 in Banta, Indiana from hemorrhage and peritonitis, caused by typhoid fever of 19 days’ duration, aged thirty-two years, five months and eighteen days, born in Morgan County, Indiana. He was male, white, married and a laborer. His father’s name was Wm. Brunnemer, born in Virginia, and his mother’s maiden name Nancy Harper, born in Indiana. The informant was Ed. Duke. George was buried in Shiloh Cemetery on 20 Nov 1900, Covert & Covert, undertaker.
