The funeral of William Brown took place at Salem M. E. church Sunday, Rev. Vancleve preached the sermon. The deceased was the youngest child of the Irben [sic Irbin] Brown family, a family of eleven children. But three survive.
The wreath of white chrysanthemums that decorated the coffin of W. Brown was a most lovely one, and reflected great credit on the persons who prepared it.
