The seven months old child of W. E. Brown and wife, died at Indianapolis Friday night of cholera infantum. The remains were brought here Sunday. Funeral services Sunday afternoon at the home of W. B. Chambers, con­ducted by Rev. Thos. G. Cocks.

The Marion County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882‑1920, referencing Book H-6, page 288, records that Walter Brown, a seven-month-old white male, died 1 Oct 1897 in Indianapolis.
