Tandy Brockman Died Monday
Prominent Retired Farmer of Jollity Neighborhood Passed Away Monday Afternoon.

Tandy Brockman, aged fifty-six years, a prominent retired farmer of the Jollity neighborhood, died at twelve-fifteen o’clock Monday afternoon at his home in Johnson county. Death was caused from catarah of the lungs and stomach and followed a lingering illness. Early last summer Mr. Brockman went to Bay View, Mich., where he spent seven weeks in the quest of health.
Ten days ago Mr. Brockman was taken seriously sick and gradually grew worse until death relieved his sufferings. Mr. Brockman was a member of the Jollity M. P. Church and a member of the Marietta K. of P. lodge. He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Martha Brockman, two sisters, Mesdames Frank Sandefur and Nathan Jones, all of Johnson county.
The funeral services will be held at one o’clock Thursday at the Jollity church. The body will be buried in Greenlawn cemetery at Franklin.
