EDINBURGH — Mabel Briddle, 58, of Edinburgh, died Tuesday at Johnson County Hospital at Franklin after a brief illness.

She was an employee of the David R. Webb Co. here and a member of Assembly of God Church here.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Assembly of God Church, with burial at Nineveh Cemetery. Persons may call at Eskew Funeral Home here after 4 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Briddle was born in Barren County, Ky., Oct. 13, 1923, the daughter of Charles H. Roller of Bargersville and the late Lucy W. Dowell Roller. She was married to Donald Briddle June 16, 1971, and he survives.

Other survivors include seven sons, Larry, James, Charles, Timmy and Kevin Streeval of Edinburgh, Donald Streeval of North Vernon and Osbie Streeval of Hartsville; six daughters, Phyllis Chandler, Linda Evans, Pamela and Nancy Streeval of Edinburgh and Sharon Streeval and Debbie Antle of Seymour; two brothers, Charles E. Roller of Franklin and Donald Roller of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Alma Wilkerson of Nashville, 23 grand­children and three great-grand­children.
