A service for Gladys I. Brenton, 77, Dunedin, Fla., will be at 1 p.m. Thurs­day at Wilson-St. Pierre Greenwood Chapel, where friends may call from noon until the service.

Mrs. Brenton, a native of Johnson County, died Monday at Largo Medical Center, Largo, Fla., after a lengthy illness.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cem­etery.

She was born March 27, 1908, to William D. and Cora (Coffman) Barker.

She moved to Florida in 1967 from Greenfield. She had retired as a file clerk for Secured Insurance Co., Indian­apolis.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Brenton; a daughter, Dolores Rempel, Indian Rock Beach, Fla.; a sister, Bessie McClain, Greenwood; three grandchildren, and four great-grand­children.
