Francis L. Branigin

Francis L. Branigin, 75, died October 9 at Sugar Mill Nursing Home in Homosassa, Florida. He had been an [sic] resident of Inglis, Florida.

Born November 18, 1915 in Edin­burgh, he was the son of Paul and Tessie Branigin.

He had operated and owned Brani­gin’s Lounge (now Marv’s) in Edinburgh until 1956 when he moved to Florida. He retired in 1981.

Surviving are two daughters, Judy Branigin Riley, Crystal River, Florida and Janice “Sparkie” Branigin Sanderson of Plainfield, Indiana; two brothers, Mickey K. Branigin of Edinburgh and Dale E. Branigin of Birmingham, MI; two sisters, Helena P. Collins, Minoque [sic], WI; and Beulah Long of Edinburgh.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Graveside services were held at Bushnell Veteran’s Administration Ceme­tery in Inverness, Florida with Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
