Barbara L. Brand

Barbara Louise Hinton Brand of Nineveh died Friday, June 9, 1994, at the Todd-Aikens Health Center in Franklin.

Mrs. Brand was 66.

She was born October 12, 1928, in Indianapolis to Edna Base Hinton Wear of Indianapolis and the late Roy Hinton.

She and Edward C. Brand were married in 1946. He died in November 1978.

Mrs. Brand worked 17 years at the Kroger store in Franklin. She retired in 1988.

She was a member of Southside Turners.

Survivors besides her mother in­clude two daughters, Suzanne L. Davis of Greenwood and Denise G. Brand of Nineveh; four sons, David M. Brand of Columbus and Dale A. Brand, Roy E. Brand and Jeffrey S. Brand, all of Nineveh; a step-son, Edward A. Brand of Indianapolis; two sisters, Pat Green of Mishawaka and Margie Starr of Brownsburg; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grand­children.

Services were Monday, June 12, at the Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home in Greenwood.

Burial was in Forest Lawn Mem­ory Gardens in Johnson County.
