Ralph E., son of Clem and Alta Bradley, died July 18, 1900, aged 2 years, 3 months and 5 days.
One more little empty cradle,
One more saddened home.
No darling Ralph at the table,
No baby’s hair to comb.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Union Township, Johnson County, Certificate and Record of Death, Health Officer’s Record Number 13, page 22 records that Ralph Emerson Bradley died at 8 o’clock p. m. on 18 Jul 1900 in Union Township of exhaustion from ileocolitis of twelve days’ duration, contributory cause otitis media of two days’ duration, aged two years, three months and five days. He was male, white and single, born in Johnson County. His father’s name was Clement E. Bradley and his mother’s maiden name Alta M. Thompson, birthplace of both Indiana. I. O. Kidwell was the informant. William was buried in Union on 19 Jul 1900, Covert & Covert, undertaker.
