EVA VORIS BOONE.

Mrs. Eva Voris Boone, wife of Elmer Boone, died at her home in Whiteland on last Friday, the 20th, of typhoid fever, after an illness of several weeks. Besides the husband, she leaves two small children. The funeral services were held on Sunday, conducted by Rev. C. Burt, of the Presbyterian church. The Whiteland Band of which the sorrowing husband is a member, attended in a body and rendered appropriate music. The remains were interred in the Greenwood cemetery.

Mrs. Boone was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Voris. Only a few short years had she traveled life’s path as the devoted wife of a devoted husband. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her and she leaves the good influences of a good, christian life a precious legacy to her relatives and friends.

Mrs. Eva Boone, wife of Elmer Boone, died on Friday afternoon, Nov. 20th, of typhoid fever. Mrs. Boone was a lady highly admired and respected by all who knew her. The funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church, Rev. J. C. Burt officiating. Notwithstanding the bad weather the funeral concourse was one of the largest ever known here, thus attesting the esteem in which our people held the many noble qualities of the deceased. The K. of P. and the Whiteland Band of which organizations Mr. Boone was a member, had charge of the funeral. The remains were taken to Greenwood and placed in the cemetery vault. The deceased was 24 years of age and leaves two small children besides a devoted husband to mourn her loss.
