LEOTA BISEL
Leota Bisel, 101 West County Line Street, Edinburgh, 70, died Monday evening at Bartholomew County Hospital were she had been a patient three and a half weeks. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home in Franklin by Rev. Dennis Shufelt and burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 5 to 9:00 tonight. Mrs. Bisel was born April 16, 1911, in North Madison the daughter of Thomas and Mary Bibb Davidson. She was a graduate of Deputy High School and married John Bisel in Edinburgh Feb. of 1952. He preceded in death Feb. of 1979. Mrs. Bisel moved to Edinburgh 39 years ago from Jefferson County and worked at the Edinburgh Furniture Factory. Survivors are daughters, Mrs. William (Lois) Mankin of Hope and Mrs. Jeanette Branum of Taylorsville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a step daughter, Rosemary Smith of Edinburgh, six step grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Maurice Davidson of Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Edna) Drake of Whiteland and Mrs. Dale (Crystal) Housefield of Lakeland, Fla. She was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
