Services set for Toddy Bills
Oris[sic] L. "Toddy" Bills, 68, 400 South Pleasant Street, Edinburg, died Friday night at his residence.
Born Aug. 25, 1907, in Johnson County, he was the son of Elmer and Leona (Gosney) Bills.
Mr. Bills was married to the former Freda Coy on Sept. 23, 1933. She preceded him in death on Nov. 14, 1971.
A member of Edinburg United Methodist Church, Mr. Bills was a retired construction worker and was best known as a fisherman.
Services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Eskew Funeral Home, Edinburg. Burial will follow in Nineveh Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Dale Bills, U.S. Navy, Marion Bills, Louisville, Ky., and Charles Bills, Edinburg; two brothers, Nelson Bills, Princes Lakes, and Loren Bills, Bargersville; and one sister, Mrs. Georgia Critzer, Culver City, Calif.
A sister, Buelah Swisher, preceded him in death.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
