Nelson Grant Bills
Nelson Grant "Bud" Bills, 70, died Tuesday at Todd-Aikens Health Care Center in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
He was born March 8, 1926, in Edinburgh. His parents were Nelson S. and Florence (Hege) Bills. Survivors include two brothers, Bobby L. Bills of Franklin and Joseph E. Bills of Selma, Ala.; two sisters, Maxine Broniszewski and Phyllis Roush, both of Franklin; two aunts; four nieces; four nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He attended Franklin High School.
He was employed by Crane Naval Department and Chrysler Corp. of Indianapolis for 30 years, retiring in 1984.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War and a member of P.T. Boat Squadron in Memphis.
The Rev. John Williams will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
