87, of Indianapolis, 
formerly of Edinburgh, 
died last Tuesday 
morning at Community 
Hospital in Indian-
apolis. Bills serv-
ed as Blue River 
Trustee at Edinburgh 
during the 1930's.
  Services were con-
ducted at 10:00 a.m. 
Thursday at the Dor-
sey and Doty Funeral 
Home in Indianapolis. 
A Masonic memorial 
graveside service 
was held at 11:30 
a.m. Thursday at 
Rest Haven Cemetery 
in Edinburgh.
  Bills was born 
July 1, 1892, in 
the Camp Atterbury 
area the son of Al-
bert and Annie Lee 
Stillabower Bills.  
He married Bertha 
Stillabower who pre-
ceded him in death.
  Mr. Bills was a 
member of both the 
Edinburgh American 
Legion post and 
Masonic Lodge and 
was an Army vet-
eran of World War 1.  
He lived in Indian-
apolis 39 years and 
retired after 19 
years as a security 
guard at RCA.
  Survivors included 
a sister, Ruth Henby 
of Straughn, a sis-
ter-in-law, Katie 
Stillabower of Ind-
ianapolis; and niec-
es and nephews.

Services set for
Claude M. Bills

Claude M. Bills, 87, a former Blue River Township trustee, died Tuesday morning at Community Hospital, Indianapolis.

A retired security guard for RCA for 19 years, he had lived in Indianapolis the past 39 years.

Services will be at the Dorsey and Doty Funeral Home, 3925 E. New York St., Indianapolis, Thursday at 10 a.m. with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh. Calling hours will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Masonic graveside rites will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Rest Haven.

He was born in the Camp Atterbury area July 1, 1892, to Albert and Annie (Lee) Bills.

He was married to Bertha Stillabower who is deceased. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Edinburgh American Legion Post 233 and the Edinburgh Masonic Lodge 100.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Henby, Straughn; sister- in-law Katie Stillabower, In- dianapolis, and several nieces and nephews.
