MICHAEL BEYERSDORFER
Michael Beyersdorfer, 67, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Greenwood.
He was born Oct. 25, 1934, in Indianapolis. His parents were John and Francis (Jones) Beyersdorfer. He married Betty (Dunham) Beyersdorfer on April 19, 1956, in Indianapolis. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Patty Huesman of New Palestine; three sons, Mike Beyersdorfer Jr. of Mooresville, John Beyersdorfer of Middletown and Steve Beyersdorfer of Indianapolis; a brother, John Beyersdorfer of Indianapolis; and 14 grandchildren.
He was a draftsman for 11 years at United Technologies Carrier, retiring in 1997.
He enjoyed restoring cars and traveling.
He was an eight-year member of the U.S. Naval Reserve.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today at Nineveh Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home
