Miss Susie Bergen, a most estimable young lady living near Hopewell, and a daughter of John Bergen, died Tuesday night after a six months illness of consumption, super induced by la grippe. Deceased was but sixteen years of age. She was much loved for her many amiable qualities and her untimely demise is the cause of much sorrow. Interment will be the Hopewell cemetery, services to be conducted by Rev. Davies, of the Hopewell Presbyterian church.
